From adult beginner ballet to pilates conditioning, meditative yoga to accessibility-focused movement, Ballet Des Moines offers classes taught by company dancers and professionals in the community at our studio located downtown. Classes are available on a drop-in or monthly basis, and discount packages are available as well.

Choose Your Attendance Option
We offer three ways to attend drop-in classes. Choose the option that best fits your schedule:
Drop-In — Pay as You Go
Perfect for dancers who want to attend occasionally or have a changing schedule. Register and pay for each individual class.
Register for a Single Drop-In Class
Monthly — Best for Weekly Attendance
Perfect for dancers who plan to attend class every week. This option provides a discounted rate and is billed on the 1st of each month.
Register for Weekly Attendance
Class Pass — Flexibility + Savings
Perfect for dancers who want a discounted rate without a weekly commitment. Purchase a 5- or 10-class pass and use your classes when your schedule allows.

ALL VIRTUAL CLASSES: Be sure to select the VIRTUAL option when registering. After registration, you will automatically receive an email with the Zoom link for your class.
DROP-IN
DANCE CLASSES
A monthly series for dancers with visual impairments, offered September-November. Using tactile, auditory, and descriptive instruction, dancers will build ballet foundations while learning simple combinations from The Nutcracker to its music—becoming familiar with the story, characters, and music before attending the performance.
Stay after each class for a relaxed wine social. Ballet Des Moines will provide one complimentary glass of wine for each adult participant.
Cost: $25 per class
