cross-cultural Storytelling
Each year CultureALL and Ballet Des Moines present an educational and vibrant multicultural performance, geared towards young audiences, grades 3-6, providing a foundation for a cross-cultural discussion about arts, culture, and heritage. Together we investigate different cultures through the lens of performing arts, storytelling, and cultural identity that is passed down through generational celebration. Classroom resources guide meaningful discussions with students before and after the performance, where students explore plot, character, theme, symbolism, history, traditions, and more through the lens of literary and performing arts.
