Ballet Des Moines is proud to present the second production of our Resilience season, in partnership with Iowa PBS.

Acts of Resilience: Vision will debut on Friday, February 5 at 8:30PM.

This inspiring triple bill showcases our vision to lift up all artists in our community, featuring a collaboration with the Roseman String Quartet, a world-premiere contemporary ballet by Oklahoma City Ballet master Ryan Nye, and a live performance alongside Max Wellman and his band.

Last month, Ballet Des Moines unveiled our season premiere: Peter and the Wolf, created in collaboration with Civic Music Association. This ground-breaking educational program engaged families around the world, introducing symphonic instruments, beautiful dance, creative storytelling, and including a virtual screening with live Q&A featuring artists from the performance.

We are proud to share these performances and educational resources with our community for free, but without ticket revenue, we need your help to ensure Ballet Des Moines can continue to inspire and engage through artistic and educational programming.
